Overview

A regulated digital asset exchange has to present fast-moving market data accurately and legibly, while meeting the trust and compliance expectations of a financial platform handling real money.

Highlights

  • Owned the React front-end of an exchange live since 2016, with 5,000+ registered users, ~15 supported assets and R4.6 billion in trading volume.
  • Built real-time trading and price visualisation using react-vis.
  • Integrated a Swagger/OpenAPI-documented backend via swagger-client, keeping the front-end contract-driven.
  • Implemented fast catalogue and record search with Algolia InstantSearch.
  • Delivered location features with Leaflet mapping.
